Saying "I" rather than "you" helps you stay honest and on your own side of the street. Start your stentences with "I."

This is not easy when the other person has hurt you in some way, and you are sure they meant to do it with malice, and your feelings swirl away all your calm communication skills.

So here's a list of feeling words, a vocabulary helper. As you dig through the list for the exact word, dig in your inner being for deep honesty, too.
