Water Experiments: Routine Night Water
If you're concerned about night wakings for urination perhaps you'd like to skip this experiment. Some people cut off drinking any water after 5:00 p.m. or 7:00 p.m. to avoid such night trips to the bathroom.
Before going to bed, place nearby a bottle of water. When you wake in the night drink a sip or two. Often when you wake in the night, your eyes seem full of sand and they have trouble focusing. Notice how quickly the sips of water will help your eyes feel better.
Your body can tell you if perhaps sand-in-the-eyes during the day could be helped with a few sips of water.
